CRAFTY BREAK at GORWELION GUIDE HOUSE, Porthcawl

The Programme Committee of the Trefoil Guild (Wales/Cymru) organised a week long break at Gorwelion. Members attended from all corners of Wales. They enjoyed a taste of many arts and crafts. Decorative candle making, writing on glass, tapestry, quilting, beaten copper work, lace making, encaustic art, paper craft, etc. A big attraction was the making of coloured glass hangings in the 'Tiffany' technique instruction given by Gee and David Castle. The laptop computer kept some members happily browsing through pictures of events in 1999.
