COOKOUT AT MISKIN MILL SCOUT CENTRE
Members of Aberdare, Bridgend, Pontyclun and Pontypridd were challenged to cook a meal on an altar fire at Miskin Mill Scout Centre. It was a gorgeous evening when the teams turned up with the fuel and ingredients for their meal. All the cooked dishes were taken to a central table where members enjoyed sampling a fish dish, curry meal, chicken breasts, potatoes, peas, kebabs and an assortment of sweet dishes from pancakes, fresh fruit salad, apple cooked in brown sugar and sultanas in foil jackets, custard, etc.
